Microsoft Antitrust Suit

* Microsoft antitrust suit -- UC Davis economists George Bittlingmayer and Thomas Hazlett research the effects of political and regulatory uncertainty -- including the enforcement of antitrust laws against Microsoft -- on investment and economic activity. In a recent study, they conclude that enforcing antitrust laws against Microsoft has not helped the rest of the computer industry but, in fact, may have hurt it.
