Newly appointed U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman will make his first official visit to California Monday, April 17, to host a public regional rural conference at UC Davis. The morning conference, focusing on international trade and research, will include Glickman and representatives from academia and agriculture. Accompanying Glickman will be Rep. Vic Fazio and Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and Yolo County farmer Richard Rominger. Details of the visit will be made available next week in a news advisory.
