Looking for an expert on a water-related topic? A new reference guide, the "Directory of Water Resources Expertise in California," may be just what's needed. Published by the UC California Water Resources Center, the directory lists more than 500 water experts in more than 300 technical and policy-oriented subject areas. "The directory seeks to identify as completely as possible those faculty and staff researchers in California universities who are actively investigating questions related to water resources," says Henry Vaux Jr., director of the California Water Resources Center at UC Riverside. More than 80 percent of the experts listed in the directory are from the University of California, the remainder are from 13 California State University campuses and several private institutions.
