Liz Applegate, lecturer for the nutrition department at UC Davis, has recently written a book titled "Power Foods: High-Performance Nutrition for High-Performance People." Applegate's new book gives readers the facts about nutrition: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Applegate also outlines a power-eating plan in the book to help people feel better and have more energy.
