What: A key study on exercise and breast-feeding, conducted by University of California, Davis, nutritionists, will appear in the Feb. 17 New England Journal of Medicine. The study finds that women who are breast-feeding their infants can participate in frequent, moderate aerobic exercise with no adverse effects on the quantity or content of their breast milk -- and can significantly boost their cardiovascular fitness. Researchers and participating moms with infants will explain the results of this study to the media. (See attached release.)
