The Lafayette String Quartet, molded under the tutelage of the renowned Cleveland Quartet, has distinguished itself as one of America's finest string quartets. Presenting a program of Haydn, Bartok and Beethoven, the Lafayette String Quartet will perform at UC Davis at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in Freeborn Hall. Additionally, they will perform a free noon concert that same day in Room 115 Music Building. Media are invited to photograph and interview the musicians following their noon concert.
