Larry Berman, a professor and chair of the political science department at the University of California, Davis, has been awarded the Bernath Lecture Award, given annually by the Society of American Historians for Foreign Relations. The award includes a $500 cash prize, an invitation to deliver an address at the annual meeting of the Organization of American Historians in April 1993, and publication of that address in the scholarly journal Diplomatic History.
