A Stanford University law professor will address "Political Money and Freedom of Speech" during the 1997 Barrett Lecture at the University of California, Davis, law school Thursday, Feb. 13. Kathleen M. Sullivan, professor of law, specializes in constitutional law. She has appeared on such programs as the Jim Lehrer News Hour and Nightline, and in such publications as The New York Times, The New Republic and The New York Review of Books. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. in the Moot Court Room. The lectureship was established in 1986 to mark the retirement of the UC Davis law school's founding dean, Edward L. Barrett Jr., and the law school's 20th anniversary. The lecture is free and open to the public.
