Francine Bradley, extension poultry specialist in the UC Davis Department of Avian Sciences, was named Poultry Scientist of the Year by the Pacific Egg and Poultry Association. The trade association represents the poultry industries and allied industries in the Western United States and Canada. Bradley was recognized for her research contributions and her leadership of the collegiate student programs sponsored by the association. Bradley was also inducted into the California National Poultry Hall of Fame. She was recognized for her leadership and dedication to educational activities in poultry that foster the recruitment of youth into poultry programs.
