Professor Awarded for Primate Research

The American Psychological Association has named UC Davis psychology professor William Mason as one of the top three award winners for distinguished scientific contributions in 1995. Mason, who characteristically selects unexplored topics that often require methodological innovations, will present a talk on some phase of his work at the association's annual convention this month. He is specifically cited for his contributions to the understanding of the sources of order in the social lives of primates.
