Stuart Soeldner, professor of medicine at the School of Medicine, accepted the degree of Doctor of Law, honoris causa, from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Soeldner, who has been researching diabetes treatment for more than 30 years, earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie in 1959.
