Pulitzer Winner Gets Another Award for American History Book

UC Davis history professor Alan Taylor is the winner of this year's Albert J. Beveridge Award from the American Historical Association for his book "William Cooper's Town," which has also won the Pulitzer Prize. This prize is awarded annually for a distinguished book on the history of the United States, Latin America or Canada, with preference given to books that use new methodological or conceptual tools or that constitute a significant re-examination of an important interpretive problem.
