Mary Ann Montague, a staff research associate in the entomology department at UC Davis, was recently elected to a three-year term on the board of directors for Sigma Xi, an international scientific research society. Montague will represent the society's southwest region, which includes states from Texas to Hawaii and the country of Mexico. The UC Davis chapter of Sigma Xi, for which Montague was president in 1985-86, has more than 800 active members and is about the 15th largest chapter in the society.
