-- Robert Norris, UC Davis associate professor of vegetable crops, has been presented a Weed Science Society of America Fellows Award by the Weed Science Society of America. He was recognized for his many contributions to weed science and to the advancement of agricultural science and education. Norris was involved in initiating the plant protection and pest management graduate program at UC Davis and has served as a UC representative on the California Food and Agriculture Pest Control Advisory Committee.
