Satellite Brings Party Chairs to Poli Sci Class

Political science students studying American government at UC Davis get the chance to go one-on-one with Democratic and Republican national committee chairs via satellite on Tuesday, June 1. In an interactive television link-up between a UC Davis classroom and the Harriman Communications Center in Washington, D.C., (where the show is hosted) 200 students will have the chance to ask questions of David Wilhelm, chair of the Democratic National Committee, and Haley Barbour, chair of the Republican National Committee. The one-hour show is part of a series of telecourses sponsored as a joint project by UC Davis' Washington Center and the political science department on campus. The show begins at 1:55 p.m. PST in 2 Wellman; however, seating is recommended by 1:50 p.m.
