-- Scott Fishman, associate anesthesiology professor and chief of the Division of Pain Medicine at UC Davis, has been elected to a three-year term as a director of the American Pain Society. The society is a multidisciplinary organization of basic and clinical scientists, practicing clinicians, policy analysts and others dedicated to advancing pain-related research, education, treatment and professional practice.
