-- Shelton Duruisseau, associate director for UC Davis hospital and clinics, administrative and professional services for the UC Davis Health System, recently received the Trail Blazer Award from the Coalition of Black Professionals. The coalition cited Duruisseau's leadership in the field of health care administration and his commitment to community service. The coalition, established in 1995, includes Sacramento's African American bankers, physicians, dentists, lawyers, engineers, insurance brokers and agents, and serves as an information and service network.
