Society for Developmental Biology Elects President

William Jeffery, professor of molecular and cellular biology at UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory, has been elected president of the Society for Developmental Biology. The 1,700-member North American society was incorporated in 1939 to further the study of development in all organisms at all levels and to represent and promote communication among students of development.
