Daniel Sumner, director of the UC Davis Agricultural Issues Center and the Frank H. Buck Jr. Professor in the UC Davis Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, has been elected chair of the International Trade Research Consortium. The organization is a group of academic, government and business economists involved in agricultural trade and policy. This is Sumner's second term on the consortium's executive committee.
