Cover crop analyst Bob Bugg of the UC Davis-based Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program received one of five first-time awards given by the state Environmental Protection Agency for being an integrated pest management innovator. The program he manages offers technical support and financial incentives for farmers to reduce the use of agricultural chemicals.
