The automotive technology of the future, fuel cell propulsion, is under study at the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies, the nation's most prominent and comprehensive university research program on advanced environmental cars and buses. The institute's Fuel Cell Vehicle Center research projects include modeling and analysis of fuel cell vehicle systems; environmental impacts; analysis of market demand, costs, regulatory strategies and fuel-supply infrastructure options.
