Undergraduates Display Research and Creative Work

More than 100 undergraduates and recent graduates will present their UC Davis research projects at the Undergraduate Research Conference from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, in Wellman and Freeborn halls. Up to 50 percent of a UC Davis education comes from experiences outside the traditional classroom lecture setting, according to some estimates. In its fourth and largest year, the conference aims to recognize and reward students for their research and creative work. To gain a competitive edge for future jobs or valuable experience for further studies, students can take advantage of a wide variety of research and creative opportunities through special mentorship and fellowship programs and also through independent study programs sponsored by individual faculty members in all colleges and professional schools.
