In recognition of his years of service to their program, the veterinary medicine faculty at the University of Zurich has given an honorary doctor's degree to Niels Pedersen, professor in the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine's Department of Medicine and Epidemiology and director of the Center for Companion Animal Health. Pedersen has trained Zurich faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in his lab. He also collaborates with Zurich faculty on research.
