Dr. John Madigan, a UC Davis professor of veterinary medicine, and fourth-year veterinary student Jacqueline Whittemore, will not return to the Sacramento area tonight, as announced in an earlier advisory. Both were recalled to assist in rescuing livestock from the floodwaters in North Carolina that followed Hurricane Floyd.
