When Mario Cuomo Talks

New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, considered by many to be an icon of the Democratic Party, will speak at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at UC Davis in Recreation Hall. Elected New York state's 52nd governor in 1982, he set records for popularity in both his 1986 and 1990 bids for re-election. Cuomo's talk, titled "A Discussion With Mario Cuomo," is the first in a 1993-94 series of distinguished speakers sponsored by UC Davis Presents.
