Exhibit Title: UC Davis Student Art Show Dates: May 13 - 29 Where: Memorial Union Art Gallery Second floor, Memorial Union University of California, Davis Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday Reception: 5 - 7 p.m. Monday, May 13 The eighth annual UC Davis Student Art Show sponsored by the Memorial Union Art Gallery will open with a preview reception and award presentation on Monday, May 13. The show is a juried open competition for all enrolled UC Davis students. The juror for this year's competition is D.R. Wagner, a noted Sacramento Area artist and a lecturer in the Environmental Design Department, UC Davis. Twenty-two entries from 17 students were selected for the show. In addition to awards to purchase the works, gift certificates or merchandise, donated by several Davis businesses and campus services, will be presented at the preview reception. Supporters include The Avid Reader; Bogey's Books; Noodle Express; Gayle's Books; Hibbert Lumber; and the UC Davis Bookstore. The Memorial Union Art Gallery is wheelchair accessible. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
