Exhibit title: "You Art What You Eat: Installations of Edible Media" Dates: Feb. 26 through March 22 Hours: Noon - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday 2 - 5 p.m. Sundays Closed Saturdays and holidays Where: Design Gallery Department of Environmental Design 145 Walker Hall University of California, Davis Reception: 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 Artists: Tony Bellaver, San Francisco Thomas Bleigh, Sacramento Erika Olsen Hannes, San Francisco Be Herrera, Sacramento Heather Hollern, Sacramento Mary Marsh, San Francisco Gay Outlaw, San Francisco Dexter Smith, Sacramento Reetah Szuszkiewicz, Sacramento "You Art What You Eat" is an invitational exhibition, curated by Design Gallery director Dolph Gotelli, of nine Northern California artists creating individual environments of edible media. Participating artists will utilize a variety of edible, faux-edible, and edible-related materials to create eight personal installations including elements of the "Last Supper" in Roman Meal Bread, Asian foods, and an interior complete with a couch of potatoes. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
