The Geography Graduate Program provides a strong core in geographic concepts, theories, methods, and traditions, with more in-depth course-work available in geography’s four main areas of emphasis:

Geophysics is the study of the physical properties and processes within and surrounding the Earth. Many problems in the Earth sciences require geophysical techniques for study.

Global disease biology allows students to study disease and its relationship to the health of people, animals, plants and the environment in a global context.

The Horticulture and Agronomy Graduate Group offers programs of study leading to the M.S. and Ph.D.

The Hydrologic Sciences Graduate Group provides a comprehensive hydrologic science curriculum that emphasize process-oriented critical thinking and quantitative analysis, with increasing use of env
