It’s election day today (June 2) in the statewide primary election, and two Yolo County vote centers are open on campus from 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

One is located in the Activities and Recreation Center’s meeting room 1, and the other is in ballrooms A, B and C of the Conference Center. You must be registered to vote in Yolo County to vote in either location; California allows same-day registration, so you are able to register and cast a ballot today if you aren’t already registered.

Transportation Services will be subsidizing 30-minute permits in Lot 25 and the Gateway Parking Structure for voter parking. Voters must check in with staff members inside and provide their vehicle license plate number to obtain a virtual permit at no cost to the driver.

A Yolo County ballot drop-box is open 24/7 on Tennis Court Lane, adjacent to the Memorial Union Bus Terminal. Similar to dropping your ballot in the mail, deposit any California ballot in the box and it will be forwarded to your home county, even if you don’t live in Yolo County.

A full list of vote centers and ballot drop boxes in Yolo County is available online. If you live outside of Yolo County, find information from your county elections office
